::Developed internal & external communicational systems for CRH.

    :: Internal Communicational System:
         :: This system handled daily Publication Request Forms from Ministries of CRH to the CDD. It was an internal digital calendar that was maintained by me and was able to be viewed online or via the church's intranet by anyone with a subscription. The calendar was self-publishing so once a new event was inputed, anyone to view it within 5-15 minutes. This system had the capability to handle events months in advance and helped us to develop:

Weekly handouts (see portfolio site for handout examples)
 Bi-weekly/monthly mail-outs/newsletters (COMING SOON - see this specific gallery for newsletter/mail-out examples)
Weekly campus signage assignments such as:
   - Banners
   - Posters
   - PPT/Keynote presentations/announcements
   - Pamphlets
   - Bulletins
   - Outside signage
   - Web ads/promotions

:: External Communicational System ::
    :: Two forms of communication were widely used in a number of methods at CRH:
• netma
     - the digital format of communication. (Stands for Nobody Ever Tells Me Anything) Netma was mainly used before and after services and drew its content from the internal digital calendar. It's contents ranged from simple PPT/Keynote slides to in house produced videos from Expression Pictures (see below). If an outside event was be announced that included a video, this was also incorporated.

• lifeflow/FBC_RH Reminders
     - the mail-out forms of communication:
          • First Phase 2006-2007: lifeflow began as a monthly magazine with inspirational articles written by the pastoral/director leadership of CRH and included netma announcement ads intertwined.
          • Second Phase: This evolved to the bi-weekly FBC_RH Reminders that were a simple card stock dual-sided announcements coming from netma.
          • Final Phase: lifeflow returned as a tabloid size newspaper format that included small articles from ministry leaders and netma announcements in the form of classified ads. To view examples of all three methods, click here.

:: Information on Handout Development Structure::
gps2-2.2.jpg
    :: The church's handouts were highly designed professional-quality promotional pieces that revolved around the changing sermon series and seasons. The original concept came from the senior pastor and the organization and structure of how the series was communicated came from me. Once the imagery (logo/mark design) was developed, I worked the concept into the proper methods of communication (normally movie-sized posters and banners) and supervised while a graphic designer handled the bulletin design. Along with this were numerous other avenues as time, budget, and concept allowed.

:: Information on Mail-out Development Structure (lifeflow, Final Phase only)::
     :: Using the internal digital calendar, I was able to create a monthly template with the netma ads. On the first of every month, articles were submitted for inclusion in the next month's issue. Weekly Schedule for development:
     - Week One: Articles proofread, template with netma ads built by me.
     - Week Two: Next month's issue developed by me
     - Week Three (first part of week): lifeflow sent through proofing structure developed by me
     - Week Three (second part of week): lifeflow sent to print department, printed, cut, folded.
     - Week Four: lifeflow mailed out - due date, first of month.

:: Web site ::
     :: www.richmondhill.org went through three phases during my tenure:
          • Phase One - Late 2007: I redesigned richmondhill.org using only Flash. This was a very interactive site but was very difficult to navigate and update.
          • Phase Two - 2008: Heidel Design was contracted to develop a solid dynamic website. The website used Movable Type and helped CRH to have a easily maintained site that had the potential to expand infinitely. Once Heidel Design turned the site over to CRH, I began learning movable type and took control of the site. The site was delivered with minimum design.
          • Phase Three - 2008-2009: Design and expansion was implemented into the site as my skills grew with the site. By April 2009, the site included:
               - over 20 sub-domains
               - A Javascript-enabled style-switcher (with CSS) that altered the design without altering the content for each active sub-domain (up to three different designs to choose from). This was changed out with the seasons or special holidays.
               - Polling
               - Expanded News Ticker
               - Experimentation with Social Networks

:: Video (Expression Pictures) ::
    :: The Video Department of CRH began with myself and two other individuals. In the middle of 2008, I created Expression Pictures. Expression Pictures was the full-service film wing of the CDD. This involved seven different ministry departments:
          • Directing Ministry
          • Administration Department
          • Scriptwriting Department
          • Filming Department
          • Editing Department
          • Productions Department
          • Casting Department
     :: The main purpose of Expression Pictures were filming opportunities that arose from the concepts that came from the sermons. Once a concept arose, the Director worked with Scriptwriters to come up with the final script. This was turned over to the Producer(s) and Casting Director(s). Producers from the Administration department handled the development of schedules for filming, worked with Casting directors to bring actors on line, and maintained the organization of each film so the Director could concentrate on filming.
